What do you do at iDelivery Solutions Group?
Head of Delivery. I work with all the delivery consultants and provide them with any support required, liaising with clients on resourcing, strategy and progress. I also promote ISO9001 and ISO27001 within the company to ensure that the correct processes are being followed, and looking for ways to improve what we do that can be of benefit for our clients.
What is your favourite part of the job?
Learning new things everything day, sharing that knowledge, and thinking about how I can use the new thing I have learnt tomorrow. – Yesterday I learnt that I freeze up when recording my first podcast – whilst I can’t use it tomorrow, I know that in the future I know that I can use that experience to help the rest of the team and myself know that it wont be so hard next time.
What would surprise people to know about you?
As an adult I learnt to play Flute to ABRSM Grade 5 standard.
What is your favourite tech or testing phrase, and why?
Technology is nothing. What’s important is that you have a faith in people, that they’re basically good and smart, and if you give them tools, they’ll do wonderful things with them.
–Steve Jobs
Why… it tells us that if we empower people, they can change lives for themselves and those around them
If we were to describe your real passions and absolute dislikes in one sentence – what would that sentence be?
Passions: Keeping very active with the family – and playing the Flute – if only I did less of the former I would have more time for the latter!
Dislikes: Lack of Manners.
What was the last thing you played on Spotify?
I will have picked a Running Playlist for in the gym to help me get through the session whilst my children are at Swimming Club.
Tell us something you love about working for iDelivery Group?
I am really lucky to love doing my job, and I actually love the people who I get to work with! Getting out of bed on a Monday morning really isn’t difficult.
